Tree Service Technicians work in various settings, including residential, commercial, and municipal areas, and may specialize in areas such as pruning, tree removal, or tree health assessment.

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $16 / Hour
What you'll be doing as a Tree Technician:
• Pruning trees to promote growth, enhance appearance, and ensure safety.
• Trimming branches to clear pathways, roads, or utility lines.
• Assessing tree health and recommending treatments for diseases or pests.
• Installing supports or braces to stabilize weak or damaged trees.
• Cutting down trees using chainsaws, ropes, and other specialized equipment.
• Removing tree stumps and grinding them to prevent regrowth.
• Operating heavy machinery, such as cranes or bucket trucks, to safely remove large trees.
• Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to prevent accidents.
• Using personal protective equipment (PPE), including helmets, goggles, and gloves.
• Ensuring proper placement of warning signs and barricades to alert pedestrians
and traffic.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Sharpening chainsaws and maintaining cutting edges for efficiency and safety.
• Inspecting ropes, harnesses, and other safety gear for wear and tear.
• Interacting with clients to understand their tree care needs and preferences.
• Providing estimates for tree services and explaining the scope of work.
• Addressing customer concerns or questions in a professional and courteous manner.
Available shifts:
Shift timings -1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
• Previous experience in tree care, landscaping, or related field preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with pruning techniques, and safety procedures.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Comfort working at heights and using ladders, ropes, and climbing gear.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record may be required.
• DOT drug screen required.
• Strong verbal communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Keen observation skills to assess tree health, identify hazards, and perform precise cuts.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to safety protocols.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
