Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in JSF to join a product-focused engineering team based in Chennai. The role involves designing, developing and maintaining enterprise web applications, ensuring high performance, security and scalability.
Job Responsibilities
• Design and develop server-side Java components and JSF-based front-end pages.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with backend services and databases.
• Participate in requirement analysis, solution
design and code reviews.
• Write automated unit and integration tests, and contribute to continuous integration pipelines.
• Diagnose and resolve performance, reliability and security issues.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
Requirements
Must Have
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java EE / Jakarta EE and JSF (JavaServer Faces).
• Exp in JDBC and Spring Boot
• Good knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with RESTful services and JSON.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
