The Data Process Associate is the "data architect" of the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process. Your primary mission is to ensure the absolute accuracy of the information entering the billing system, from patient demographics to insurance coverage and charge entry. You are responsible for converting complex medical records and encounter forms into clean, billable data. In an industry where a single typo can lead to a claim rejection, your role is critical in maintaining
the "Clean Claim Rate." The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses high-speed data entry skills, and has a fundamental understanding of medical terminology.
Key Skills:
Data Entry Speed: Minimum typing speed of 40-50 WPM with 99% accuracy.
Medical Terminology: Basic understanding of healthcare terms, anatomy, and standard billing forms (CMS-1500).
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office (especially Excel) and RCM platforms.
Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies between medical records and system entries.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
