Job Description
Responsibilities
To find out the status of outstanding or underpaid medical claims, make outbound calls to US insurance companies.
Determine and classify patterns of denial in order to offer input for process enhancement.
Verify that every documentation complies with HIPAA regulations and company requirements.
Determine recurring billing problems or trends that result in denials, then share your findings with the AR Analyst team or supervisors.
Reach or surpass daily, weekly, and monthly
goals for the number of calls, claims settled, and collection rates.
Skills
Familiarity with medical billing software and proficient computer navigation skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
