For our medical billing team in Chennai, we are looking for a very thorough and effective Payment Posting Executive. You will be in charge of promptly and precisely entering payments that patients and insurance companies make into our medical billing system. Assuring correct financial records and directly assisting in the appropriate payment of healthcare providers, this vital function forms the basis of the revenue cycle.
Responsibilities
Check the correctness of the payments against the relevant remittance information and claims.
Ensure proper system classification by being aware of the various denial codes and their meanings.
Find any inconsistencies, missing data, or odd payment trends, and notify the supervisor right
away.
In the billing system, precisely record all posting operations and associated actions.
Work well together with other revenue cycle teams, particularly Charge Entry and AR, to guarantee smooth information flow and settle any billing disputes.
Attend training sessions and team meetings to be informed about new procedures and developments in the sector.
