The AR Analyst's function is changing into that of a financial strategist who uses analytics and payer-specific knowledge to speed up cash flow, handle complicated denials, and promote process enhancements that have a direct effect on the organization's financial stability.
Desired Outcomes:
Proactively evaluating ageing records, spotting underpaid or rejected claims, and doing methodical follow-up with insurance companies (commercial, government, worker's compensation) are all part
of your job description. It will be essential that you can understand EOBs (Explanation of Benefits), recognise refusal codes, and effectively design and submit appeals (Level 1, Level 2). In order to improve our cash conversion cycle, you will use your outstanding communication and negotiating skills to resolve payment issues, accurately record all follow-up activities in the PM system, and report trends in denials or sluggish payments to management.
