Job Description
In medical billing, the final step of securing revenue hinges on the accurate and timely posting of payments. We handle a high volume of complex Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) from various payers, each requiring meticulous attention to detail. The challenge is to efficiently apply these payments to the correct patient accounts, reconcile discrepancies, identify underpayments or denials, and ensure our financial records are flawless. Inaccurate posting can lead to significant revenue leakage, delayed collections, and frustrated patients.
Role:
As our
Payment Posting Executive, you will be a vital guardian of our financial integrity and cash flow. Your meticulous work will directly translate into accurate financial reporting, accelerated revenue collection, and seamless accounts receivable follow-up. You will be responsible for precisely posting payments from EOBs, ERAs, and patient statements, ensuring every line item is correctly applied. By identifying discrepancies, variances, and denial codes, you will play a crucial role in flagging issues for our AR follow-up team, preventing revenue loss.
