Working Hours : General Shift | Monday to Saturday
Responsibilities
Examine medical claims thoroughly for errors in costs, coding, and documentation.
Verify the completeness, correctness, and adherence to industry standards and payer requirements by analysing claims data.
Examine claims data to find patterns, trends, and places where claim processing could be improved.
/>Write reports on claim rejections and denials, pointing out the underlying reasons and suggesting solutions.
Make sure that all applicable laws and industry norms—such as HIPAA and ICD-10-CM guidelines—are followed.
Skills:
solid knowledge of medical billing and coding concepts, such as CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes.
knowledge of medical anatomy and terminology.
competence with Excel spreadsheets and other data analysis software.
knowledge of pertinent laws and standards for compliance, such as HIPAA and ICD-10-CM norms.
