Payment Posting Executive Reliability and Obligation
Job Description
Who You Are:
Payment Processing: You will accurately post insurance payments (ERAs and EOBs) and patient payments into the practice management system (PMS) within established deadlines.
Denial Identification: You'll meticulously review EOBs/ERAs to identify and accurately post all denial codes, adjustment codes, and patient responsibility amounts, flagging critical denial trends for the AR team.
Batch Reconciliation: You will perform daily reconciliation of posted payments to ensure the amounts match the bank deposits and batch totals, maintaining zero variance and financial integrity.
Refund
Processing: You will identify accounts with credit balances and assist in generating necessary documentation for patient or payer refunds, ensuring compliance with billing regulations.
System Accuracy: You'll ensure proper transfer of balances to the secondary payer or to patient responsibility accurately, setting up the account for the next stage of the billing process.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
