Payment Posting Executive Fast Growing RCM Process Job
Job Description
Your Contribution:
Accurate Payment Entry: Ensuring that the patient's and carrier's ledgers are consistently balanced by promptly posting payments received from insurance companies and patients (both electronically and manually) into the billing system.
Reconciliation and Balancing: To guarantee 100% correctness and spot inconsistencies right away, posted batches are daily balanced against bank deposits and Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs)/Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
Denial and Adjustment Management: The methodical identification and posting of all denials, write-offs, and contractual adjustments. For prompt action and appeal, you will classify denials
and forward the related claims to the A/R follow-up team.
System Integrity: Ensuring that the right codes and transaction types are used for posting and modifications in order to preserve the integrity of the patient accounting system.
Process Improvement Feedback: Providing valuable feedback to the billing and coding teams regarding frequently occurring denial patterns identified during the posting process to proactively reduce future errors.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
