Location: In And Around Chennai
Your Duties:
Accurately document payments made by insurance companies through ERAs and paper checks in connection with the pertinent patient accounts and claims.
Maintain strict accuracy standards when handling and processing a lot of payments each day.
Investigate and promptly resolve any deviations, unapplied payments, or reconciliation mistakes;
if necessary, report the issue to the supervisor.
Verify that the correct patient account and claim are associated with the appropriate payer, payment amount, and service date.
Identify the claims that require additional research and appropriately forward them to the AR team for collection follow-up.
Determine which claims need more investigation, then appropriately forward them to the AR team for collection follow-up.
