Accurate financial reconciliation, denial analysis, and overall cash flow optimization are all directly impacted by the Payment Posting Executive's expanding function as a crucial financial data integrity specialist who guarantees smooth connection between payer remittances and the patient ledger.
Desired Outcomes:
Processing Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) and manually uploading payments from Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) into the practice management system are just two of the
many crucial duties that fall under your purview. Your proficiency in precisely assigning payments, determining patient accountability, and appropriately posting adjustments, contractual write-offs, and soft denials will be essential. You will directly ensure the financial accuracy and tidy closing of accounting cycles by routinely reconciling posted batches to control totals and informing the AR team of any payment variances or odd denial patterns.
