You will be in charge of carefully inputting and confirming patient insurance and demographic data into our medical billing systems in this vital position. Your accuracy reduces denials and speeds up payments by guaranteeing that medical claims are processed correctly the first time. Outstanding data entry abilities, an unrelenting attention to detail, a fundamental comprehension of the significance of patient demographics in medical billing, and a strong dedication to data confidentiality are all required of the perfect candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and confirm the patient's insurance information, such as the insurance company, policy and group numbers, and the dates of effect.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of the insurance and demographic information on patient intake forms, registration paperwork,
and other source papers.
Find and fix any inconsistencies, mistakes, or omissions in the insurance and demographic records of the patient.
Verify that every submission complies with the company's defined policies, practices, and data input guidelines.
Mark information that is unclear or lacking so that the appropriate departments or clients can provide clarification.
Observe data privacy laws by keeping all patient health information (PHI) strictly confidential and secure.
What you Need:
Good analytical and problem-solving skills for data validation.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Educational Qualification: Any Basic Degree
