Roles and Responsibilities:
As an HMC Operator based in Chennai, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs) to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. This role will significantly enhance your understanding of HMC machine operations, multi-axis machining
concepts relevant to Chennai's manufacturing sector, and quality control processes.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of HMC machine operations and setup procedures relevant to common controls used in Chennai (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain).
Understanding of G-code and M-code programming (basic to intermediate level, familiarity with local programming conventions and multi-axis commands is an advantage).
Ability to select, install, and adjust appropriate cutting tools, including knowledge of tool holders and fixturing specific to HMCs.
Experience: 1 to 6 yrs
Qualification: 8th, 10th, 12th or Above
