Who you are:
Enter a new patient's name, birthdate, address, social security number, and contact information to register them in the billing system. Precisely record payer ID, policy numbers, group numbers, and other main, secondary, and tertiary insurance information. Verify the accuracy and completeness of the information by going over scanned encounter forms, patient registration sheets, and insurance cards. Check to see if the patient's insurance is in effect on the day the services were rendered. To guarantee proper claim transfer, make sure all addresses and names adhere to recognized formats (such as USPS standards).
Find any missing or contradicting information in the source papers and report it to the "Front Office" or "Charge Entry" teams for further explanation.
