To guarantee that the healthcare provider's financial records are accurate, this position demands a high level of attention to detail. The Payment Posting Executive is responsible for appropriately posting adjustments, identifying denials for the AR team to investigate, and reconciling payments against the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) or Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA). The accuracy of the practice's accounts receivable and financial reporting is based on their efforts.

Key Duties:
Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) files can be downloaded and posted, and payments from paper Explanation of Benefits (EOB) accounts can be manually

Denial Identification: During the posting process, record and code claim denials, then forward them right away to the AR department.
Contractual adjustments, write-offs, and discounts should be applied in accordance with office policies and provider-payer contracts.
Co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance payments collected at the point of treatment or obtained through mail or patient portals are reconciled by the patient.
