Entering patient demographic and insurance data into our medical billing systems accurately and on time will be your main duty. This crucial position guarantees the submission of clean claims, which has a direct effect on the revenue cycle. It calls for extraordinary data entry abilities, a sharp eye for detail, and rigorous adherence to data confidentiality and correctness.
Responsibilities
Enter patient demographic data from many source documents into the medical billing software with accuracy and efficiency.
Respect all quality and productivity goals set by
the department.
To extract pertinent insurance and demographic information, review patient records and associated paperwork.
Follow all HIPAA guidelines to the letter with regard to patient privacy and data security.
Keep thorough records of all demographics handled each day, including any problems found.
Skills:
proficiency with quality tools including 8D problem-solving, MSA, FMEA, SPC, and Control Plans.
outstanding statistical, analytical, and root cause analysis abilities.
strong interpersonal, presenting, and communication abilities.
Educational Qualification: Any Basic Degree
Experience: 3+ yrs
