What you will do:
A crucial and specialised
type of medical coding will fall under your purview. In order to find and correctly abstract all pertinent chronic diseases and assign the proper ICD-10-CM codes that correspond to an HCC, a thorough, high-volume review of clinical evidence must be conducted. Your responsibilities will include engaging in quality assurance audits, verifying adherence to official coding norms and payer-specific regulations, and teaching clinicians on documentation improvement (CDI). Maximising proper risk adjustment will require your keen attention to detail, dedication to compliance, and extensive clinical coding knowledge.
