Your Impact:
looking for a medical billing executive that is efficient and meticulous to oversee the billing procedure for healthcare providers. You will be in charge of managing denials, posting payments, accurately submitting claims, and making sure that reimbursement is received on schedule. The ideal applicant will possess outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as a solid grasp of payer restrictions and medical billing procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the complete medical billing process for patient encounters in our Chennai facility.
Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage, obtaining necessary authorizations and pre-certifications as required by Indian insurance providers.
Accurately enter patient demographics, medical services rendered, and relevant coding information (ICD-10 and CPT or equivalent Indian systems) into the billing
system.
Prepare and submit electronic and paper claims to insurance companies and other payers in accordance with their specific guidelines.
Follow up on submitted claims to ensure timely processing and payment, investigating and resolving any rejections or denials.
What you Need:
Familiarity with various insurance payers and their specific billing guidelines prevalent in the Chennai/Tamil Nadu region.
Experience in electronic claim submission and knowledge of relevant billing software and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems commonly used in Chennai.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and claim processing.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Educational Qualification: Any Basic Degree
