Job Description
Primary Task: The objective is to ensure prompt and comprehensive reimbursement for US healthcare providers while upholding stringent confidentiality and compliance standards from our Chennai office by accurately and efficiently managing the various stages of the medical billing process, with a primary focus on charge entry, payment posting, and/or initial denial analysis.
Responsibilities
Check that the ICD-10 diagnosis codes are accurate and that they correspond to the procedures that were carried out.
Determine and record write-offs, adjustments, and refunds in accordance with US payer regulations and business policy.
Determine the initial grounds for refusal on Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) or ERAs that US payers have provided.
Verify that
all claims adhere to regulatory criteria and payer-specific specifications.
Arrange and preserve papers in accordance with business regulations and legal obligations.
To fulfil performance goals and quality standards, keep your accuracy and productivity high across the board.
Required Abilities:
Strong typing speed and proficiency.
Proficiency in using medical billing software, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and/or payer portals.
Good computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
