Job Description
Responsibilities:
To ensure prompt payment and follow up on unpaid accounts receivable, make outbound calls to patients and insurance providers in Chennai and other areas.
Comprehension and explanation of the specifics of insurance claims, patient invoices, and payment guidelines pertaining to Chennai's and India's healthcare systems.
In order to successfully clear outstanding amounts, negotiate payment plans and settlements with patients and insurance companies while adhering to established criteria.
Reach and surpass the organization's monthly and daily collection goals in Chennai.
Provide exceptional customer service by answering incoming calls from payers and patients with questions about billing and processing payments.
Work
well together with Chennai's billing, coding, and other pertinent departments to enable quick and easy claim processing and payment collection.
Skills:
the capacity to professionally and empathetically manage delicate discussions.
strong precision and attention to detail while recording payment and correspondence details.
basic computer literacy and competence with the MS Office Suite and pertinent billing applications.
the capacity to operate both individually and collaboratively in a goal-oriented setting in Chennai.
