Demo Entry Executive Patient Care Data Meets Accuracy
Job Description
The first stage of the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process is handled by the Demo Entry Executive, also known as Patient Demographics Entry. Accurately recording and inputting patient data and insurance information into the Practice Management (PM) software is part of this job. The Demo Entry Executive must guarantee 100% data integrity because any mistake at this point could result in downstream claim denials. The ideal applicant is meticulous, has a fast typing speed, and is aware of the crucial connection between effective insurance reimbursement and patient data.

Responsibilities
Patient Registration: From source documents, enter demographic information into the billing system, including name, date of birth, address, social security number, and contact data.
Accurately record primary, secondary, and tertiary insurance information, such as payer IDs, policy numbers, and group numbers.
Verification of Documents: Examine scanned insurance cards, face sheets,

and patient registration forms to make sure all necessary fields are complete and readable.
Data Integrity & Accuracy: Verify entries to avoid typos or number transpositions that can cause "Invalid Subscriber ID" or "Patient Not Found" denials.
Support for Eligibility Checks: Help identify accounts when insurance information appears to be outdated or inaccurate throughout the entry process.
Daily Goals: Achieve high-volume production targets while keeping a quality score of at least 98%.

Skills:
Typing Proficiency: High accuracy at a minimum speed of 35–40 WPM.
Attention to Detail: The capacity to identify minute differences in alphanumeric strings, such as insurance IDs.
Basic Medical Knowledge: Knowledge of US medical terminology and insurance card layout (front and back).
Software Proficiency: Knowledge with RCM platforms such as eClinicalWorks, Kareo, or Athenahealth is advantageous.
