The fundamental gatekeeper of the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process is the Data Entry Executive in Medical Billing, often known as a Demographic Entry or Patient Entry Specialist. Your main task is to accurately enter encounter data, insurance information, and patient information into the billing system. Your job necessitates surgical accuracy and rapid typing because even one mistake in a patient's name or ID can result in an instant claim denial. In order to ensure that the remainder of the billing
cycle proceeds smoothly, you will convert unclean medical records and registration forms into digital data.
Key Skills:
Typing Accuracy: 100% data integrity with a focus on exceptional speed (at least 40–45 WPM).
The capacity to identify minor mistakes in lengthy alphanumeric strings, such as insurance policy IDs.
Medical Terminology: A basic knowledge of healthcare terminology and the format of American health insurance cards.
Software literacy includes knowing how to use Microsoft Office and being able to pick up Practice Management (PM) software fast.
Experience: 3 to 6 Yrs
