Your Duties:
Patient Registration: Enter the name, date of birth, address, social security number, and contact information of new patients to register them in the billing system.
Insurance Entry: Precisely record primary, secondary, and tertiary insurance information, such as group numbers, policy numbers, and payer IDs.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of the information on scanned encounter forms, patient registration sheets, and insurance cards.
Verification of Eligibility Support: Check to see if the patient's insurance is valid on the day that services were rendered.
Data Standardization: To guarantee
successful claim transfer, make sure that all addresses and names adhere to recognized formats (such as USPS standards).
Error Identification: Point out any missing or contradicting information in the source documents and report it to the "Charge Entry" or "Front Office" teams for further explanation.
