Data Processing Services Associate in RCM

Your Duties:
Charge Entry & Validation: Correctly input ICD-10 and CPT codes from electronic health records (EHR) or superbills into the billing software.
Patient Demographics: Enter personal, contact, and insurance details when registering new patients. Make sure that no mistakes are made in important fields such Social Security numbers and policy IDs.
Payment Posting: Post payments received from patients and insurance companies (EOBs/ERAs) into the appropriate accounts either manually or electronically.
Denial Identification: Check rejected claims for data-related mistakes and fix them so they can be resubmitted right away.
Batch balancing:
Verify that the total charges and payments entered correspond to the source documents supplied by the clinic by reconciling daily batches.
Document Indexing: To make it easier for the AR team to retrieve scanned medical records, insurance cards, and authorization letters, arrange and upload them into the Document Management System (DMS).
