Who you are:
Make sure all services rendered are recorded by reviewing and interpreting patient encounter forms, often known as superbills. Enter patient demographics, insurance details, and encounter information into the Practice Management system with accuracy. To prove medical necessity, assign the proper CPT and HCPCS codes and associate them with the related ICD-10 codes. To ensure correct reimbursement and give further context, use the appropriate modifiers to process codes. Check to make sure the right amounts are allocated to each treatment in accordance with the insurance contract or the provider's particular charge schedule.Identify and fix any possible mistakes found by the billing software's
"scrubber" prior to the claim being sent. In order to satisfy month-end closing requirements, volume management requires maintaining a high daily throughput of charges while upholding stringent quality standards.
