Excellent attention to detail and the capacity to spot and fix mistakes.
fundamental knowledge of medical coding principles and terminology (CPT, ICD-10).
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as the capacity to function well in a group setting.
proficiency with electronic medical records
(EMR) systems and computers.
Excellent typing abilities and knowledge of keyboard shortcuts.
