Job Description
Your Impact:
You will be in charge of looking into unresolved claims, handling payment problems, and making sure patients and insurance companies compensate you on schedule. The ideal applicant will have outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, a solid grasp of medical billing and payer rules, and the capacity to operate autonomously to meet collection goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Prioritise follow-up tasks for our Chennai location by proactively managing and evaluating ageing accounts receivable records to find unresolved claims.
Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and internal departments (coding, billing, etc.) in Chennai to look into and fix billing problems, denials, and underpayments.
Accurately and completely record all follow-up actions, correspondence, and resolution results in the invoicing system.
Determine patterns

in underpayments and denials, then offer suggestions to enhance billing procedures and lessen recurrences in our Chennai operations going forward.
Keep apprised of modifications to industry best practices, payer policies, and laws pertaining to medical billing AR in India.
Respect patient privacy and follow all applicable healthcare compliance laws.

What you Need:
Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills to secure payments and resolve disputes with payers.
Strong organizational and time management skills to manage a high volume of outstanding claims and prioritize tasks effectively.
Thorough understanding of relevant healthcare regulations and compliance standards in India, including payer-specific guidelines.

Educational Qualification: Any Basic Degree
