The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process begins with the Demo Entry (Demographic Entry) Executive. Accurately entering patient data, including personal information, insurance coverage, and provider information, into the medical billing software is your main duty. Your accuracy is crucial because this is the "front-end" of the billing cycle; even a small misspelling in a patient's name or policy number can result in instant claim denials and payment delays. The ideal applicant is a quick and accurate
data entry specialist who is dedicated to protecting patient privacy and has a basic understanding of the US healthcare system.
Key Skills:
Alphanumeric Speed: Outstanding accuracy and speed of data entry (40+ WPM).
US Healthcare Knowledge: Fundamental knowledge of US geography (states and zip codes) and the principles of health insurance.
Detail Orientation: The capacity to identify even the smallest differences between digital records and handwritten forms.
Software Proficiency: Knowledge of RCM platforms including eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Epic, and Kareo.
Experience: 3+ yrs
