Who you are:
Contact US-based insurance companies via phone to inquire about the status of any outstanding or unpaid claims. Talk to insurance agents about rejected claims, determine the cause of the denial, and take prompt action to correct and submit the claim again. To ensure that every conversation is targeted and fruitful, collect information prior to making calls using insurance web portals and internal billing systems. Determine whether claims have been unfairly rejected and give the AR Analysts or Appeals team the information they need to start a legal dispute. Keep thorough records of each call
in the practice management software, including the insurance representative's name, call reference number, and anticipated payment date.
