Within the Medical Billing cycle, the AR Caller is a specialist who works with insurance companies to settle unpaid or rejected claims. Your main goal is to expedite "Revenue Cycle Management" (RCM) by determining the reasons for payment delays and taking the required steps to collect unpaid amounts. Investigating claim statuses, appealing denials, and making sure healthcare providers get paid fairly make you a sort of investigator. The ideal applicant
is a tenacious communicator who is well-versed in refusal codes, US healthcare insurance laws, and navigating intricate "Payer" portals.
Key Skills:
US Healthcare Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, PPO, and HMO programs.
Knowledge of common codes is known as denial code expertise.
Speaking English fluently and being able to "hold your ground" when negotiating with insurance adjusters.
The capacity to identify trends in denials that can point to a systemic billing or coding problem.
