Job Description:
An essential component of the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process, the AR Caller is in charge of following up with insurance carriers to guarantee that medical providers receive accurate and timely reimbursement. Analyzing rejected or unpaid claims, contacting insurance payers to settle disputes, and navigating the appeals process are all part of this job. The ideal applicant is a tenacious and lucid communicator who can successfully lower the "Days in AR" by resolving claim obstacles and obtaining payments, and who is familiar
with the subtleties of US healthcare insurance (PPO, HMO, Medicare).
Key Skills:
Communication: Exceptional verbal English skills with the ability to handle neutral or US accents and negotiate with insurance adjusters.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and Standard Claim Adjustment Reason Codes (CARC).
Persistence: A results-oriented mindset to stay on hold and navigate IVR systems to reach the right representative.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in RCM software (NextGen, Athena, Epic) and basic MS Excel for tracking claim status.
Experience: 3+ yrs
