Job Description
Duties:
Insurance Follow-up: To find out the status of pending claims, start making outbound calls to insurance payers located in the US.
Denial Management: Examine "Electronic Remittance Advice" (ERA) and "Explanation of Benefits" (EOB) to determine the precise grounds for claim denials.
"Coordination of Benefits" (COB), "Member Ineligibility," and "Credentialing" are examples of typical concerns that must be addressed and resolved in order to guarantee payment.
Appeals & Re-submissions: Work with the coding team to rectify and re-submit claims that contain errors, as well as prepare and submit official appeals for denied claims.
Documentation: Keep thorough records of every call, including the insurance representative's name, call reference numbers, and anticipated

payment dates in the CRM.
Compliance: To safeguard sensitive patient health information (PHI), strictly follow HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) rules.
