Tracking and following up on outstanding or rejected medical claims with insurance companies is the responsibility of the AR Caller (Accounts Receivable Caller), a specialist expert. Reducing "Days in AR"—the amount of time it takes for a provider to be paid—and increasing revenue for healthcare institutions are your main goals. Making outgoing calls to payers, accessing complicated insurance websites, and using technical expertise and perseverance to resolve billing errors are all necessary for this position. The ideal applicant is a proactive problem-solver with
a thorough awareness of the US healthcare reimbursement cycle and outstanding American-accented English (if serving US clients).
Key Skills:
Communication: The capacity to manage intricate negotiations with insurance adjusters and outstanding verbal communication abilities.
Analytical Thinking: Excellent comprehension of medical billing logic and insurance remark codes (CARC/RARC).
Deductibles, co-insurance, out-of-pocket restrictions, and payer types (Medicare, Medicaid, PPO, and HMO) are examples of US healthcare knowledge.
