Focus Skills:
US Healthcare Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HIPAA rules, and the fundamentals of HCPCS coding.
Communication: Strong verbal English abilities and the capacity to successfully bargain with insurance agents.
Analytical Thinking: Capacity to decipher intricate insurance agreements
and confirm "Allowed Amounts" against "Paid Amounts."
Software Proficiency: Practical knowledge of RCM platforms such as AdvancedMD, NextGen, eClinicalWorks, and Kareo.
Persistence: The ability to navigate automated systems and endure lengthy "hold times" on insurance phone lines.
