A senior-level strategic position in the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) framework is the AR Analyst. The AR Analyst is in charge of conducting in-depth data analysis to determine the underlying reasons for non-payment, as opposed to an AR Caller who concentrates on high-volume follow-ups. Managing the aging report, examining denial patterns, and putting systematic fixes in place are your main goals in order to raise the "Clean Claim Rate." Serving as a liaison between the insurance payers and the front-end billing staff, you will make sure that data-driven tactics are used to maximize the practice's financial stability.
A diagnostic thinker who can identify a pattern in a thousand denials and understand how to correct the workflow to stop them from happening again is the ideal applicant.
Key Skills:
Advanced RCM Knowledge: A thorough comprehension of the intricate US insurance reimbursement schemes and the entire medical billing lifecycle.
Analytical Tools: Mastery of Practice Management software and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Data Visualization).
