Future AR (Accounts Receivable) analysts must go beyond simple follow-up to use analytics, comprehend payer rationale, and spearhead strategic process enhancements that guarantee the practice's financial stability. What you will do:
You will be in charge of carefully overseeing the inventory of outdated accounts receivable.
This entails examining EOBs (Explanation of Benefits), identifying and marking claims that need to be followed up on, and aggressively calling insurance payers to enquire about the status of claims, contest denials, and speed up payment resolution. Identifying payer-specific rejection trends, accurately recording all follow-up activities in the billing system, and coordinating with the coding and billing teams to put corrective measures in place to stop future revenue leakage are all part of your responsibilities. Maintaining a healthy AR ageing will require your perseverance, keen analytical abilities, and in-depth knowledge of the revenue cycle.
