Job Description
Responsibilities
Media Relations (Chennai Focus): Develop and maintain strong relationships with local media outlets (print, digital, broadcast) in Chennai and Tamil Nadu, proactively pitching stories and responding to media inquiries.
Content Creation (Local & National): Craft compelling press releases, media kits, speeches, articles, social media content, and other communication materials that resonate with both local Chennai audiences and national stakeholders.
Budget Management: Manage the PR budget for local Chennai activities and contribute to the overall national PR budget.
Local Language Proficiency: Communicate fluently and effectively in both English and Tamil to engage with local media, stakeholders, and the public in
Chennai.
Skills
Excellent Communication Skills (English & Tamil): Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Tamil, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
Content Creation Skills: Ability to create compelling and engaging PR content across various platforms.
Event Management Skills: Experience in planning and executing successful PR events.
Stakeholder Engagement Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
