Hi, I’m Dr. Amirah Rimal. For years, I ran a primary care clinic, but COVID took a heavy toll. Insurance didn’t reimburse me for patient care, leaving me with no income. I shifted to healthcare tech consulting, modernizing EMR systems and virtual care, but layoffs hit me twice recently due to outsourcing.
With my daughter now
in kindergarten, I needed a flexible career, so I turned to digital marketing. It allows me to work from home, avoid on-call hours, and help others in similar situations build sustainable careers.
