Job Description
Responsibilities:
Press Liaison: Establish and preserve solid connections with editors, journalists, and influencers in print, broadcast, and digital media.
Media Pitching: To obtain earned attention, find "newsworthy" stories within the organization and skillfully pitch them to the media.
Press Releases: Create and disseminate excellent media advisories, press releases, and kits.
Brand Voice: Make sure that every communication adheres to the company's tone of voice and brand requirements.
Collaboration on Social Media: Make sure public-facing messaging is in line with larger PR initiatives by working with the social media team.
Crisis Management: Help create and carry out crisis
communication strategies to safeguard the company's image in delicate circumstances.
Spokesperson Training: Give executives talking points and possible Q&A scenarios in preparation for interviews and public appearances.
Soft Skills:
exceptional communication skills, a proactive approach to media engagement, and the ability to handle communication during sensitive situations.
Cultivate strong relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, and influencers to secure positive media coverage (earned media) and promotional opportunities.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
