Job Description
Overseeing the installation, upkeep, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems in an industrial or manufacturing plant is the responsibility of the E&I Supervisor, a crucial leadership position. You oversee a group of contractors and technicians, making sure that everything is done safely, on time, and in compliance with engineering requirements. It is your responsibility to strike a balance between administrative management, which includes measuring progress, allocating resources, and coordinating between departments, and technical troubleshooting. An experienced technical leader who can move from high-level project planning to practical "on-site" problem solutions is the perfect applicant.
Key Duties:
Team Leadership & Execution: Ensure maximum productivity and technical accuracy by leading a group of E&I professionals in daily maintenance
duties and project-based installations.
Project Planning & Scheduling: Prioritize work orders in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), create thorough work schedules, and make sure all supplies are accessible before beginning a project.
Safety Leadership (HSE): Serve as the E&I team's principal safety officer; carry out Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and Risk Assessments; and guarantee complete adherence to Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
Technical Oversight: Offer "Level 2" assistance for intricate troubleshooting including DCS, PLCs, high-voltage switchgear, and intricate control loops.
Contractor Management: Keep an eye on outside contractors and vendors to make sure they follow all site-specific safety rules and that their work satisfies business quality requirements.
