Wanted Skilled DG Operator for Industrial Facility
Job Description
Primary Task: To operate, monitor, and maintain Diesel Generator (DG) sets to provide a reliable backup power supply, ensuring continuous operations and safety within the facility in Chennai.
Responsibilities
Start up and shut down DG sets according to established procedures and power requirements.
Monitor DG set parameters (e.g., voltage, current, frequency, temperature, fuel level, oil pressure) and ensure they are within safe operating limits.
Monitor fuel, oil, coolant, and battery levels and replenish as needed.
Coordinate with maintenance technicians for complex maintenance tasks.
/>Identify and report complex technical issues to the maintenance team for further action.
Required Abilities:
Good understanding of the principles of operation of diesel engines and electrical generators.
Ability to read and interpret basic technical manuals and diagrams.
Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude for performing routine checks and minor maintenance.

Experience: 2 to 4 yrs
Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech
Salary: Based on Previous work Experience
