Job Description
Responsibilities:
In order to ensure proper tool presetting, choose and install the appropriate cutting tools, set up tool offsets, and keep track of the job-specific tooling inventory.
Before giving the machine to the operator, machine the first part of a production run and measure it precisely using cutting-edge inspection equipment to get First-Off Part Approval from Quality Control.
Optimize cycle times, surface finish, and tool life by fine-tuning machine parameters, speeds, and feed rates without sacrificing quality.
Make the required little adjustments
and changes to the CNC program offsets to account for tool wear or material differences.
To confirm setup correctness, make use of all types of precision measuring equipment.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical, methodical, and quick problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication abilities for working with engineering and training operators.
Extremely meticulous and dedicated to safety and accuracy
Experience: 3 to 5 yrs
