Job Description

Rapid changeovers, reduced scrap, and the capacity to effectively create small batches of high-tolerance parts are the hallmarks of precision manufacturing's future. Using sophisticated tooling and digital setting techniques, we are developing a process in which the VMC Setter is the master technician in charge of optimising machine uptime and guaranteeing that every setup produces perfect components on the first run.
Key Responsibilities:
You will oversee the VMC setup procedure on your own. Technical drawings must be interpreted, fixtures and vices must be mounted precisely,
the right cutting tools must be chosen and installed, work and tool offsets must be set, trial runs must be carried out, and the necessary fine adjustments must be made to obtain the appropriate tolerances. Production start times and scrap rates will be directly impacted by your exclusive control over the machine's readiness and first part quality. The profitability of our business will be directly and palpably impacted by your painstaking attention to detail and rapid troubleshooting of setup concerns.
Experience: 4+ yrs
