You serve as a liaison between design and delivery, maximizing both labor and machine use. The ideal applicant is a proactive problem-solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced atmosphere and has the technical know-how to quickly address mechanical or process-related issues.

Responsibilities:

Cutting tools (end mills, face mills, drills, and taps) should be assembled into the proper holders (BT40, CAT50, and HSK) and then loaded into the Automatic Tool Changer (ATC).
Work & Tool Offsets: Create precise "Work Coordinate Systems" (G54-G59) and use manual gauges or touch probes to compensate for tool

diameter and length.
Program Verification: To make sure the tool pathways are free of fixtures and obstacles, upload the NC program and run "Dry Runs" or "Single Block" execution.
First Article Inspection (FAI): To ensure conformity with the drawing, carry out the first manufacturing cycle and use precision instruments to create a dimensional layout.

Skills:
Proficiency in reading intricate engineering drawings and comprehending geometric dimensioning and tolerancing symbols.
Metrology Mastery: The ability to use high-precision measuring instruments, such as digital micrometers, air gauges, bore gauges, and height masters.
Controller Fluency: Practical knowledge of key CNC controllers from companies like Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
Mechanical Logic: A thorough comprehension of "Speeds and Feeds" and the behavior of various materials during milling, such as cast iron, stainless steel, and aluminum.
