Your Duties:
Select and install the right cutting tools, set up tool offsets, and monitor the job-specific tooling inventory to ensure correct tool presetting.
To obtain First-Off Part Approval from Quality Control, machine the first part of a production run and measure it precisely with state-of-the-art inspection equipment
before handing the machine over to the operator.
By adjusting machine parameters, speeds, and feed rates without compromising quality, you can maximize cycle times, surface finish, and tool life.
To accommodate for material variations or tool wear, make the necessary minor adjustments to the CNC program offsets.
Use all kinds of precision measuring tools to ensure that the setup is proper.
