Job Description:
Responsibilities:
CAM Strategy Development: Using CAM software designed for 3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis vertical machining, create 2D and 3D tool paths.
G-Code Optimization: Create and modify G-code and M-code; modify post-processors to meet particular VMC machine specifications.
Tooling & Speed/Feed Selection: For a variety of materials, such as aerospace alloys, tool steel, or aluminum, determine the best cutting tools (end mills, bull-nose, and ball-nose) and compute the ideal spindle speeds and feed rates.
Collision Avoidance: To find possible interference between the spindle, tool, workpiece, and fixtures, run full machine simulation and verification.
Fixture & Work-Holding Design: To guarantee part stability during
high-speed milling operations, design or specify unique fixtures and jigs.
Cycle Time Reduction: Examine and improve current programs to get rid of pointless tool movements and apply high-speed machining (HSM) methods.
Experience: 5 to 8 yrs
Education: Any ITI/Diploma Graduation
