Job Description
What you do:
CAM Programming: To create effective and precise tool paths for 3-axis VMCs—and possibly 4/5-axis VMCs, depending on requirements—use Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software.
Setup Documentation: Provide VMC Operators with comprehensive setup sheets and work instructions that include important dimension call-outs, tool lists, offset information, and fixture positioning.
Fixture Design: To specify or design the required workholding fixtures and vices, work with manufacturing engineers or tool designers.
Interpretation
of the Blueprint: Proficiently read and comprehend engineering drawings, making sure that all dimensional specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), are fully followed.
Prior to starting mass production, closely collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure that the first machined part satisfies all requirements.
Experience: 6 to 9 yrs
Education: Any ITI or Diploma Graduation
