Job Description
Responsibilities:
Machine Setup: In accordance with the setup sheet and programmer instructions, load and precisely place raw materials, vices, and fixtures onto the VMC work table.
Installing, adjusting, and presetting cutting tools into the tool changer or machine spindle is known as "tool loading."
In-Process Inspection: Use precise measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and bore gauges to conduct thorough and regular in-process quality inspections on machined items.
Blueprint Reading: To ascertain dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish requirements, accurately read and interpret engineering blueprints and project orders.
Machine
Monitoring: Perform the required daily maintenance chores while keeping a close eye on the machine's lubrication, coolant levels, and chip accumulation.
Troubleshooting: Recognize and report machine alerts, simple operational problems, or problems that call for a CNC programmer or maintenance technician.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical tasks required in a manufacturing setting.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
