Utility Maintenance Engineer with Compliance & Safety
Job Description
Duties:
Plant Utility Management: Take charge of the upkeep and operation of vital utility machinery, such as water chillers, cooling water circulation systems, and high-pressure air compressors.
Electrical Infrastructure: To guarantee a steady power supply for precision molding, control the HT/LT (High Tension/Low Tension) power distribution, which includes transformers, DG (Diesel Generator) sets, and UPS systems.
Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance: To reduce unscheduled downtime, create and implement a strict preventive maintenance program for all utility equipment.
Energy Management: To lower the molding process's carbon footprint and power expenses, regularly analyze energy usage and put "Green" strategies into place.
/>HVAC & Environment Control: Make sure the ventilation and central air conditioning systems keep the necessary humidity and temperature levels, particularly in clean-room molding conditions.
Focus Skills:
Technical expertise: solid knowledge of electrical power systems, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
Equipment Knowledge: Expertise in centrifugal pumps, screw compressors, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in reading intricate electrical P&IDs (piping and instrumentation diagrams) and SLDs (single line diagrams).
Tools: Knowledge of Energy Monitoring software and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
